After watching the game, tuned into 3AW. Good God, the commentators were only interested in how badly the Power played
I listened to some fool call up after the game who reckons Port should have won because they won the flag in 2004 and we haven't won one since 1980 refused to accept the fact that teams can change in 2 years, what a tool :cutelaugh Was ready to thump the idiot commentator who kept calling Lids 'Delelio' not to mention how many times they would bugger up the names of the richmond boys, and polo's got the ball no its foley no it's polo, I think one time it came out as folo ::)

Sadly Goddess this is the way many Port supporeters think. I am expecting an email any minute now saying how we wil lcontinue to fail due to the last 24 years and how Port have a winning culture. Some fans dont get it and refuse to see their team is dwindling. Sure I am more optomisitc than most here on PRE (often too overly optimistic) but geez Port supporters annoy me.

I feel for you.
However here in Melb we have to endure Bombers supporters.
I'll trade you 2 power supporters for every whingeing, bleating bomber. Poor little Jimmy

Heard the clown to TG something serious wrong with his way of thinking that Port should beat everyone because they won the flag in 2004. Think he was still trapped in SANFL time warp

Id take that trade.

Every day of the week. At least you have 10 clubs to hear about over there. Apparently in SA only the Power and Crows actually exist.

You guys are all missing the point. The most important things are reported on over here. No, not whether the development of players like Polo and Schulz can help establish the Tigers as an AFL force, not whether kids like Bate and Dunn can help the Demons push for a top four finish, not whether legends such as Hird and Archer can play again. The real issues. Such as whether Mark Riccuito prefers Ravioli to Tortellini, or if Brett Burton has a labrador as his best friend (fairly likely for mine - that guy is a freak).

I think even the labrador might think he is weird.

I read somewheres else that the SA commentators knew the first names of the security guys and the ground staff but didn't know who the Richmond players were.

Can't they read the Footy Record?

Even the dumbest Vic games caller knows most of the AFL players. Sorry Dermie.

Only 25,000 there a disgraceful crowd really, looked empty, the fans that were htere were not fans as they were the quietest bunch of supporters I ahve ever been involved with dont say boo. And by 3/4 time there were significantly less of them.

I wonder if the labrador has trained the sniping dog to sit yet.
