Not a fan of either fighter.

Floyd's record 49-0
McGreggor UFC exponent.

Just a money spinner.

Fans will go I guess but I hope it's a $ flop cause that's all it is.

Was a McGreggor fan before his trash talk became too much for me.


If it came to picking one, which is hard for me as I dislike either , I hope McG gets wipped on his arse.

Thoughts and who would you go for and why, or you don't care option?

Would love to see Connor knock out Floyd.

Mayweather will be ultra defensive and most likely get the decision on points in an underwhelming fight.

Both guys earn millions and millions and ride into the sunset. I doubt McGregor fights again in the UFC which is a shame.

Ali was the best. Never trashed but there was humour behind it. The best.

Loved Tyson but he got a little crazy at times with some of his talk.


Will not last more than 2 rounds if Floyd dr sides to box and not dance & avoid as he did against PacMan. Now there is a humble gentleman who is one my current favourite boxes.

Not into UFC so hence not into McG either now.

Heard two celebs chatting about the fight and one said something like, "wouldn't it be awesome if McGregor clips the ref and then spinning kicks Mayweather..." Gave me a chuckle too.

Personally although I used to think he was a HUGE toss-pot, I am now a big Conor fan. If you actually listen to what he says, instead of just the trash talking snippets, I reckon he is a pretty amazing athlete with an immense natural understanding about human motion and fighters psyche. Pretty interesting guy!

Oh, heard a thing from when in the post-match conference after his first win and it was pretty funny. Commented on how he could now buy a car, as he didn't have one and was on welfare just the previous week.

As for the big fight, reckon McGregor has a chance to cause an upset but it will need to be before Mayweather can work him out at all. If Floyd isn't k-o'd in the first few he should be able to dance around and win it on points, as I just can't see him being able to hit Conor hard enough to knock him out.

Couldn't agree more, anyone who pays to watch this "Event" need to re-evaluate things.
McGregor won't touch him and anyone thinking he can knock Floyd out while wearing gloves can back it with me.
In the last 8 years only 2 actual fighters have gone off shorter odds v Floyd than what is on offer for the Irishman which is absolutely laughable.
The betting markets are already bracing for the dumb hype money on McGregor which is why he is the greatest lay of all time at current odds.

It's a pity real fights like Ward v Kovalev 2 this Sunday don't get anywhere near the press that this WWE like event is getting.

Yep. But if there's mugs out there willing to pay to see it?

Have loved watching some old Ali fights on Foxtel at the moment although the Liston Mk 2 bout was clearly a dive. Terrible acting by Liston when trying to get up also, and even the ref appeared in on the fix.

Love seeing Ali as a young man though, what an athletic specimen and mover.
