Flyin' the scarf......

Yeah yeah, well done hawks.....I've seen many cars with scarves hanging out the windows of their cars over the weekend,and I guess,rightly so they did well.

Well this morning I bloody well got my scarf out and had it "dancin on the breeze" on the way to work....yeah ok I got a few strange looks, but HEY......!! why the hell cant I let people know that Im a proud and excited Tiger....It's gonna fly all summer!!!

God,I looked at the leadup to the Hawks Cats game and the game itself and thought bloody hell when its our turn its gonna be "dead set crazy",
I reckon I'll be taking the week before and the week after off work to prepare and then to recover.....cant wait!!!!!!!!

I remember when we made the Preliminary finals 2001. I was living in Richmond at the time and i have never seen so much support for tigers. Ever second house had flags, scarfs, posters stuck on the front window or door. Cars had the scarf drapped across the dash board. Every tiger supporter came out of the wood works and were showing their colours. It was a great feeling around the town that week.

I went to the Prelim between the Hawks and the Aints. Wore my scarf in the members just to let everyone know that I couldn't give a rat's about who won because Richmond weren't playing. I was boozed up, well fed and wishing it was the Tiges belting the Aints.

I saw alot of those flags that people had stuck onto there cars, never seen them before.
