Just seen on a Channel 9 news update that a footballer from Coburg was killed on the Gold Coast after falling from the balcony of a high rise apartment block...

Did anyone else see or hear about this??

Anyone know if it was a person associated with Coburg FC or just from Coburg???

Played for Thery Penola footy club, not for Coburg Tigers.

Really sad news, best wishes to his family and friends.
 
Heard on ABC news that a player on an end of season trip died after falling from a balcony on the GC but they didn't mention the club. Tragic news.

That's correct, he used to live in Coburg..............
