This doesn't really warrant a devoted thread but not sure where else to post it.

The ad for our upcoming game against the Lions said Brisbane were going to tear Richmond a new one.

Apart from the fact it's stupid statement because we were in control anyway, I was pretty amazed that such a term was in common enough usage to be aired in family telly time.

What's the world coming to? ;D

This is Brisbane after all!
I think it relates more to our cycle of losing where other clubs (although never admitting publicly) pencil us in for a certain 4 points. That way they can market the upcoming game as almost a dead cert and therefore the Bris people should go and enjoy the flogging!
The fact that we've beaten them on their own dung hill twice in a row is lost on them!
They have NFI!
