The only thing that concerned me was that Free re-iterated the Richmond people for Richmond mantra - IMO it should simply be the best people for the job.
This is my biggest concern too. The guy has been out of football for over a decade and is asking ex-teammates for advice on how to review our football department. None of these guys are from a successful background, so what the hell kind of standard are we setting?

Get the best person for the job, not the best Richmond person

I can't work out what Free's appointment was based on. I love it that he's back at the club (obviously) but it does seem a strange appointment, considering he's been away from the game for so long.

Agree, however sometimes its a good move to hire someone from the 'outside world' just to get a different perspective on things.

Its very easy to have a certain mindset after being around the traps for a while. So as long as he doesn't have the final say on any decisions, I'm sure his appointment will highlight a few things other staff members are blind to.

GM was On the Couch so it was quite funny to hear Hutchy whinging and carrying on 9for about 3 minutes) about GM not getting in the FC hotseat and that because of this it has severely affecdted his reputation. Talk about sour grapes.

Not quite right Goody. March was the one they had in the gun for not coming on to FC, they said Miller wouldn't appear because of Caro.

(Unless of course your GM stands for March and not Miller, though to my knowledge March didn't appear on On The Couch)

Well done Browny, a true asset to the club, he was very polished.

I hate to say it but Caro impressed me last night, she really stood up for the club, seems like the only thing she never agreed with the club was GM and now that he is gone it will be nothing but positive from Caro. Archer is useless, it's actually embarrassing watching him on TV, will definitely be sacked end of season.

you are kidding on browny....cliched and boring

Archer was very George Costanza like with his comeback comment regarding Ricky Nixon.

When Ricky was on the show last week he stitched Archer up a beauty when he said 'that's your bad luck' when Archer didn't like one of his comments. He got completely owned by Nixon and was basically too slow to think of something to say to Ricky's face so just stared at him.

Then he has the temerity to offer his great comeback one whole week later, something about congregating with fools or something. And it was one of Denis Pagan's lines anyway.

Oh OK, still think its funny that a person who has spent half the day making public speeches about the situation has no credence just because they won't appear on FC. Hutchy the messiah!

On that we agree.

Browny running through names of the leadership group - didn't mention Pettifer. Petts is so far off the radar even his leadership group mates have forgotten he exists.
