I was looking forward to soaking up the media in grand final week but on second thought l think l will pass....the Ablett and Dangerfield narrative will be forced down our throats non stop
the Premiership Cup engraver (must be a replacement local ) has been handed the two options to practice this week:

" Won by"

Richmond Football Club

Or

Patrick Dangerfield and Gary Ablett

Spot on.
Carlton supporter: as we were once again so disappointing , the only joy I seek from this season is to see Gary Ablett holding up the cup.
Dogs supporter: I can still feel the emotion after our drought breaking flag and the outpouring of love for Bob , I want to relive that joy when Gary holds up the Cup.
Gold Coast: After forsaking a flag in 2011 to join us Gary took the lions share of our salary cap so we couldn't build a proper list, played for himself , provided nothing as skipper and then abandoned us just as there was light on the horizon, for his sacrifice he deserves another cup this Saturday.
Melbourne supporter: We haven't won a flag in 60 odd years, but nothing would warm my heart like seeing Ablett win a third.

Seriously - flogs like Robbo honestly believe they speak for the majority of fans - they think they are King makers.
On one side of the coin you could say Robbo is doing his job. On the other you could say he's doing his job really really badly. There's a third side of this weird coin that says the media is packed with Richmond success resenting nuffies who are simply happy to let that rage out whenever they can.

I know we are in the Grand Final against them, but I have now come to my senses and have realised if Lil Gaddy and Paddy Waddy hold up the cup with Dead Sea Chris, I will truly understand what premiership glory is all about.
Go Gaddy! Go Paddy Waddy!

I am not on Twitter so can anyone tell me if Robbo tweeted a poll about Dangerfield?

Along the lines of "when you are required to get the ball to Gary Ablett within the rules - but you didn't - is that:
- a white lie
- gamesmanship
- cheating

I reckon the media will play into our hands - we will use it and feed of it and it strengthens our internal narrative of being hated/ disrespected by the media.

The media didn’t get Port over the line and it won’t work either for the cats.

It also gives me time to do other things and not waste too much time listening to their crap.

Can you imagine that clown Gerard on SEN first thing Monday - it will be just unbearable

And I bet we’ll hear less about it than we did about when Dusty did something similar in last year’s QF against Brisbane.

Why the ef would anyone want to see Ablett win another premiership medal except if you are a Geelong supporter
Exactly right. What a load of *smile*. Ablett is a football mercenary that has only ever been about what’s best for himself. Stuff him. Smash em Tigers!!

Yeah, he’s already won 2, who cares if wins a third (apart from Geelong fans).

It’s not like a Robbie Flower or Bob Stilton type scenario.

Only issue I had with the deliberate calls on Friday was that it was the obvious rule of the week for the maggots.

I didn't see it like that, I just thought the players created more incidents than usual so they called them.

I thought the rule of the week syndrome kicked in the week before when they all of a sudden started calling blokes for stepping over the line with the ball.

Not sure you understand the concept of “rule of the week”......
