I wasn't watching closely when they started talking about about players getting feedback from the leadership group, but did Nathan Brown indicate that Leading Teams were now being employed by Richmond? He talked about the leadership group giving him feedback and he had to go away and work on the issues they indentified.

Yeah, he said he and the leadership group had been through the Leading Teams process. Wouldn't reveal what his team-mates said about him ;D but sounds like he thought it was a good process.

Good news then, that company definitely seems to make a difference. I reckon Phanto will be pleased as well.

Was it Browny who made the chase from deep in defense (starting about 15 - 20 m behind his man) all the way into the forward line (50 m arc) in the last quarter to put pressure on and bottle up the ball and stop a goal? This was very hard to pick up on TV but got a clear view from the Southern. Maybe he got some feedback about lack of 'team 1 % ers' and decided to do something about it. This was very uncharacteristic effort based on my observations and something we have been complaining about on here for a while (lack of tackling / pressure).

Opulentus and I saw that too. Great stuff from the Brown Dog. He just kept on chasing and definately stoped a Goal with his pressure. I hope he's Captain this week.

Yes it was Browny chasing.

He was about 20m inside our 50m forward arc & a blues player received the ball & went on a run. Brown pursued him all the way to our backline & gaining constantly. When that player received the ball back (pass off & back), Brown had just caught him & laid the tackle to stop that Carlton surge.
Great effort.

It's great when a long chase like that gets rewarded with a goal saving tackle, lifts the team and rewards the player with instant feedback on the value of his effort. Browny did a couple of these chases in the Geelong practise match (he had plenty of opportunities), very good to see.
