Footyvoice are keen to combine with PRE for a tipping competition.

The 06 competition is powered by Oztips, so it's free to enter, and easy to input and check tips. The best part...PRE tippers can compete against each other and against members of other fan sites for bragging rights.

1st prize: $400 betting voucher from TAB and a Sherrin footy signed by a star player from the Tigers
2nd prize: $250 betting voucher from TAB and $300 worth of high-fashion sports luggage
3rd prize: $150 betting voucher from TAB and $200 worth of high-fashion sports luggage

Entry details will be provided soon.  People can register on or after Tuesday March 21  when the new footyvoice website will be launched.

In 2005, footyvoice brought you expert opinion from leading former players Mick McGuane and Mark Harvey, and from former tribunal member Rick Lewis. This year, footyvoice continues to innovate, with the introduction of footyvoiceTV.

footyvoiceTV - every week a star player from each of the AFL's big clubs discusses his form and the big issues in the best game in Australia. This streaming video content is free for footy fans to watch and enjoy. The relaunched site will also feature polls, audio files and lots more.

The Tiger champion to appear on footyvoiceTV each week will be announced exclusively on PRE on Friday 18 March.   ;)

In return for us having 75 or more PREnders join the tipping competition, and placing a banner on PRE footyvoice will pay us a sum of money that would go a long way towards covering our site costs.  (No more pesky ads needed  ;D )

Last night we had over 100 users online and 80-90 guests so hopefully everyone will get behind this competition and help support PRE and keep it free for everyone...me included.  ;)

I'd appreciate people registering their interest on the poll so we can see if it's worthwhile going ahead or not.

Thanks. :hearton

Re: Footyvoice-PRE tipping competition

I must add I'd be surprised if everyone here didn't visit footyvoice each week anyway to follow our player on footyvoiceTV. I'm really looking forward to it. It will be great to learn more about his inner thoughts, and not only in regards to football.

Re: Footyvoice-PRE tipping competition

I'll be in it Rosy to help yourelf and PRE but the tipping comp last year was a debacle. They'd want it to be castly improved this year.

Re: Footyvoice-PRE tipping competition

I doubt last year's troubles will be repeated jb. The site is being rebuilt and they are using Oztips for the tipping comp and it's a whole different setup. The site won't resemble last year's one much. They had heaps of problems and headaches with it.

footyvoice will largely be based around the tipping and the "TV" clips. I'm really happy one of our players is going to be filmed and interviewed each week. We'll be able to follow his ups and downs and have an insight into his thoughts about other issues too.

It would really benefit PRE if as many people as possible register for the tipping. Easy to do your tips when you frop by to see the weekly TigerTV segment.

this is arrogant but i dont think they desrve me to be tipping in my comp after last year's @#$% ups
