For those who believe we lost in the trade for Brown

I recall Kepler came out of the 2003 draft.

That particular draft was renowned for the lack of quality talls in it. In a way, it was one of those drafts one might avoid actually choosing talls.

From memory, some of the talls were:
1. Blake - taken F/S by Geelong
2. Boyd - taken as a rookie by Carlton, then delisted.
3. Bradley - as mentioned.
4. Dawson - yes, Zac, by Hawthorn
5. Kyle Archibald, taken by us, then listed.
6. I think even Ericksen & Spaandermann were in that draft too.

Blake seems to be the only one really kicking on.
Mind you, those boys would be only 21-22yo, they've still got a couple of years.
But I don't think CHB is Kepler's position.

Chaplin, A.Campbell, Pettigrew were juniors from that draft, Phanto.

Ben Hudson and Sam Fisher were experienced types that were picked up.

...JON and Thursfield terrible in particular illustrates both a cognitative deficiency and a pre adolescent debating technique.

How can you type such dribble. JON is a shocker. He has terrible skills!

Keep calling me a Hawk if it makes you comfortable, and delays your own realisation that four years into a rebuild we are 0-4 and equal favourite for the wooden spoon. It, like your attitude, shows real progress....

He calls you a dawk troll because it's obvious to all of us that is exactly what you are.

Turbo Tiger your a goose!!!

JON is in his second year and is till developing. Fact is our older players are letting us down in the fact we they're all playing ones cos the younger guys are still undeveloped to push them out of the team where as at Hawthorn you have that 23-28 age group stil there!!!
Real question will be in 5 years when both clubs are at the peak!!!

keep talking our kids down. All it does is show is in fact the insecurities within yourself that actually Wallace,s handling of our kids is starting to bare fruit. All of a sudden our kids are starting to click as one.Our kids havnt got the mental scars to that of the hawks who while granted they are 3-1 they cant escape from the fact they went through a very long period of time over the past 2yrs of not winning a game.
lets wait and see how good these young hawks are when once again they will have to face their demons.

I wouldn't get too excited by the Coburg flogging of Box Hill when comparing the Tigers and hawks. Most of the Hawks kids are playing in the seniors.

Would have thought thats a positive for the Tigers. Still many more youngsters to make their mark for the Tigers in the future. Also means our team of youngsters cleaned up more experienced opposition in the VFL. The performance of the youngsters in the VFL this year is very exciting, especially in comparison to last year.

The future isnt as bleak as some of the doomsdayers are trying to portray. Here's a thought too, could both the Tigers and Hawks become quality teams in the future. It seems, some think it has to be just black or white.

Yep, fair enough, I'll grant you that good1.
