I tip Richmond to win by 25.

Favourite Hawks memories is the low-scoring game we won against them on Lake Waverley. Another game I really enjoyed being at, not involving us, is when Hawks and Kangas played a draw in a final and had to play an extra 5 mins each.

Worst memory...Dunstall goalfest against us, and how it regulalry gets mentioned so many years later...whoops it just got another mention. :hihi

Re: Form vs Hawks..tips and memories

First game of football I ever attended was the last game before that long streak of more than a decade were we didn't beat the Hawks in the 80's and early 90's.

I was there when we broke the streak too, if memory serves some young freak call Richardson took 13 marks.

Re: Form vs Hawks..tips and memories

Hawks by 30 pts, best recent memory is when we came back from 8 goals down or so.

Dermie tips the hawks by 71 points

Is there a more aarogant or more disliked person in the football media

I hope its a close game not only for our development but to also stick it right up dermott.

i liked it when we came back from 50pts down i was there

i remember when i was about 7, dermie killed us one day i was listening on the radio and i also remember richmond who were second bottom playing hawks who were on top in about 91, we were up all day and then tony hall kicked a goald with 1 min to go for hawks to pinch it at waverly

Was that '95? When we won with 4.16 ? lol

I'll NEVER forget how cold I was that day :(

Yep that's the one tigerstar. I loved being there in the cold and rain watching both teams really slog it out. Had to swim out of the carpark after the game. Ahhh the good old days. :old

Should get to within 3 goals. Best memory is a win after trailing by a lot, worst memory about 1975 I think, we kicked 2.20 against them to lose by 10 goals.

Memories-good and bad.
The lake game, 4 goals and won
Dunstall's 17
A game at princes park, where I very nearly got into a blue with an obnoxious hawks supporter who kept criticizing Richo all game, even when the ball was at the other end of the ground. kicked 5 from memory and won. mid 90's
Brereton wearing a vest to protect damaged ribs, kicked 11. Had to admire him that day.
Richo, nearly always taking a bag of marks against them.
Another game at Waverley, in 93. hawks supporters always turned up expecting the 4 points, hadn't beaten them since 85. They were in front all game, cocky and arrogant, we came back and looked like causing an upset. They went feral, nearly starting a riot. We ended up losing by 10 points. Hated them with a passion since because of their fans behaviour that day.
Coming back from 50+ points down in 2003.

I liked the game in 2005 under the Telstra dome roof - I'd nearly given up on the Tiges that day in the last quarter but they kept piling on the goals and then a young lids sidestepped somone on the wing, and sent a torp down to the goalsquare which ended up a goal and an unlikely win.

I was also there the day Dunstall kicked 17. :'(

I bet a lot of the players wish they weren't!
