Forward Line

I really see our defence as the biggest problem and then followed by our midfield. Apart from Foley, we dont have a consistant ball winner playing in the centre square.

All across the ground is a worry... Supposedly we lack key positions but our midfield gets smashed (Foley holds his own against the best). Our backline is a worry aswell (always is gonna be when u lose every week) So pretty much as most ppl on this web site have been saying for years our team is full of duds! But my god dont we love 'em! GO TIGERS!

That's because we have Rawlings as the assistant helping our forwards, what a joke, nah fair dinkum people Jade and Royal need to pack their bags.

Rawlings has been with us for 8 months. What's happened for the previous 25 years?

We had dud coaches then aswell, we're just keeping that tradition alive.

If it was me:

HF: Pettifer Hughes Riewoldt

Richo

FF: Brown Schulz

Why do you have Richo as the centre of our forward line set-up?
IMO, you're structure still looks very predictable. Too many leading forwards and not enough creativity.
As for pace...not alot there either.

FWIW, I agree. Your midfield is a bigger problem than your forward line. Break even/win there and your forward line was OK. Sit on the ball for five minutes before it reaches the forward line and we've got everyone covered twice over.

BTW, we've played most of the year without a traditional hit-up CHF tall (which has taken some getting used to). We generally use running midfielders in that role (Bateman, McGlynn, Lewis etc) with our forwards pretty well anchored in the fifty. Whoever it is, tall or small, the key is workrate and it fell off for you guys after a decent start.
