With Melbourne's draft picks and young list....they will most likely feature in finals ahead of us in the coming 2-5 years. :'(

They are taking 2-3 years of pain now (like Hawthorn did) while we continue to hover betwen 9th and 16th.

So Thomas isn't far off.

Having said that, I think the Tigers will win comfortably this weekend....just to add some more paper to cover the cracks and to keep some underachieving players in the yellow and black for a few more weeks. :-\

Francis Leach is a funny man who is a good radio presenter. Love him. I don't particularly care whether he "hates the Tigers" or not. He does support the Saints for his sins however.

What Leach said makes total sense, if any team applies 4 quarters of pressure to their opponent then they are likely to win the game. If Richmond had continued to do it to Geelong they would have won. I prefer Francis to the Ox, at least Francis can string a sentence together and regularly use words of more than 2 syllables.
