Mikee, do you mean the same way St.Kilda did? You know - that team that finished eighth this year, sacked their coach and haven't played in a GF yet despite reportedly having the best list in the comp for the last 3 years. Sorry for being sarcastic, just having a little fun. I'm just not completely sold on the "bottoming out is the only way up" theory. I reckon environment has a lot to do with it. And if the hawks wanna bring a spud into the environment then I say good on them! Sadens me to say but the Hawks will have more onfield success than us in the coming years. They have been alot more patient (mainly due to tanking, have cleaned up the draft last 3 or so years) and have been rebuilding their list with so many quality kids. In 3-4 years time they will be a genuine flag chance. I feel more sorry for us than the Hawks.
