Hes done it once again!!!

That man frawley is a complete waste of time and obviously has his favourites!!! All you frawley lovers i want to hear a response!!!!!

HOW could he drop rodan????? Fair enough he has made a few mistakes but is only a KID and a good one at that!!!! Lets shoot his confidence and drop him in the twos!!! Showed too much class to play in the ones!!!! To say that he only got dropped due to the fact we have no game is nonsense!!! Why not drop all of them after those performances!!! Its only going to shoot his confidence especially when he sees rogers and bowden continually turn over the ball with no discipline against them!!! He obviously will think ive done something wrong to be chosen!!! Let him play his game and make the odd mistake unlike others who continually do so!!!!

What about rogers????? Even the media had a go at him this week!!!! Fiora should definately be dropped before rodan any day!!!! Please tell me how rogers never gets any critiscm or never gets dragged for continually turning the ball over with shocking disposal!!!! Put bowden in that category!!!!

Never fear though people as brisbane will give us a FOOTY lesson when we play them and we will see frawleys chosen few true colours!!!! Also how much this man has ruined this club!!!! He will be the demise of many talented players at tigers if he remains any longer!!!! We better bloody see pettifer running around at coburg this week and hopefully the rest of the year!!!! He will also play fiora against brisbane coz he had a great game against them about 3 years ago!!!! Once game and he thinks hell win it for us!!!

Has Rodan been dropped or just asked to play an extra game FUD.
Big difference and I think a good run might do him good and hold him in good stead for the Brissie game.

You really are a complete dud, Frawleyudud. Playing for Coburg when there isn't an AFL game on is not what I would call being dropped. I'd call it sensible use of spare time. As you say, Rodan is a confidence player - so what better place than Coburg to restore confidence, find the ball and have a hit out without duds like you waiting to pounce?

At least TRY to put forward a coherent argument when you post. I fear that may be beyond you!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
apparently only houlihan and hall volunteered to play at coburg, i dont know about rodan, but certainly FUD, you couldn consider him dropped.
 
I think Rodan should be dropped it won't hurt him he has had it easy since he arrived. To me he appears to lack discipline and doesn't get enough of the ball. Overated player by the tiger supporters IMO
 
If we had half decent depth Rodan would have been droped weeks ago.

Still he was the only midfielder against Carlton willing to run the lines and actually looked dangerous on a couple of occasions. But a run with Coburg will be good for the boy. Lets see if he can get 20+ possessions.
 
FUD,

Rodan - prob needs to go back to Coburg and get *smile* loads of the ball and realise that he is good enough to impose himself on a game. He will def play against Brissie.

Rogers - The guy is a hack in any division, so going back to Coburg will do him no good what so ever. May as well give him a rest.

Fiora - Same boat as Rodan.

As for Danny, I just don't know at the moment. I get the feeling he is more hamstrung by injuries than we realise and given that our list is 2 short and we can't elevate any rookies, he is doing the best he can with an ordinary bunch
 
Well said Dean3, your posts as usual are spot on.

Rodan playing for Coburg this week is a good move. He needs to learn to be more of a team player and do more team things rather then always trying to kick the impossible goal and trying to take too many players on. He rarely gets more then 15 possesions per game and a game for Coburg in teh midfield will do him the world of good. He has not been "dropped" as the seniors are not playing this week.

Rogers isn't playing because he is 29 years of age and his body needs a rest (probably a permannent rest by years end). We'd get more out of him by resting him this week then playing him in the twos. It's called "player management".

hehe ... that one actually started life as a double post mc24, before I ditched it for just a full stop to avoid folks having to read it for a second time.

In hindsight, a full stop after TF's post would have been quite appropriate really. Seemed to sum things up nicely.

I am not going into this team plays badly,let's get rid of the coach *smile*.
The players are responsible , not one bloke i.e. the coach.
We will never get anywhere if we sack the coach every 3 years .
Time for some stability and positivity at this club.

Frawelyudud - not only are you re-freshing but also enlightening. Frawley is the sole reason we haven't improved in 4 years and will be the sole reason why we won't move for another 4 more due to his lack of coaching skills and his short term approach.

When people ask - why did we lose to carlton last week? - the answer is frawely. When people ask why do we play such a boring style of football? - the answer is frawely. The buck ALWAYS stops with the coach. Some people here are starting to sound like Andrew Hughes and Tony Greenburg with the constant excuses - "oh we've been riddled with injuries", "Oh you can't blame frawely for past administration decisions", "Oh the players need to be more accountable". Expect 15,000 members next year if we retain him.

Now on the rodan/rogers issue - I'm not too disappointed that rodan was asked to play for coburg but there should have been a handful to go ahead of him - Hall, Fiora, and Rogers to name a few. If Rogers body isn't holding up, and if he's not in our future plans then why give him a game anyway - its not like he's playing any sort of decent football.

Aahh - the short memories of tiger fans - just don't go complaining when the losses keep coming and we continue to play pathetic football - I'd expect you guys to support Frawely even then!!!! Like Frawely's decision making process at the selection table, things have to go horribly wrong until a pro-active decision is ever made.
 
And getting to 6-2 this year, or to the prelim final in '01 with an ordinary list - lemme guess, that wasn't Frawley, that was luck...or a fluke?

Can't have it both ways Harry.

Dean if your happy with a thrashing in the prelim then you can praise danny all you want. I for one am not.
 
Now you're being silly Harry. Of course we "Frawley lovers" were all ecstatic with our 10 goal thrashing in the prelim. ::)

Just making the point that you are happy to blame Danny for the losses, but the wins and good performances must be to somebody else's credit. Whose?
