PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

You've been upfront about our batch of kids from 2004 not being up to it, and I've asked you this question twice now without an answer.

If players like Hodge, McLean, Bartel, Andrew Walker, Salopek, Ray, Sylvia and Wells were Richmond players would you have been calling for them all to be traded after their first two years given that they all had significantly worse beginnings to their careers than Deledio has had (basically similar to Tambling's start in most cases)? If the answer is no I'd really like to know why.

These are just a small sample of the multitude of high and low draft picks that have taken more than two years to show their full potential.

EDIT: Good point Royal Tiger, while you're at it Fudud how about giving us a list of 30 or so (some will get picked by other clubs) kids in this years draft that will be ready to star in the AFL in their first two years. You'll need at least that many if you want to have 19 picks in this years draft like you posted in your other thread.
