FRIDAY THE 13th!!!!!!!!!!!

Apologies Mr Ruff if I went in a bit hard and rough, but I wont apologise for bein a bit cranky......I get a bit defensive about my beloved tigers...at times...
How can you say that the polack-picks8 and whatever was a major disaster bordering on the Pitura fiasco?
Crivens, the ink aint even dried and not one kick has been in anger from Polack in 2007.........and you have judged, covicted and sentenced the deal to life imprisoment.......
Hell,Im glad we didnt go after soloman...remember we were gonna steal Fort Knox off the USA and pay him?How big a disaster that wouldve been!Or Kingsley!Or Acker, even though im a fan of his....
Mr Russ, feel free to have a good whack at me if yoiu wish mate...I respect your right to your opinion,my opinion is.....just wait and see if it works out in 2007...if its a bloody failure......feel free to come out swingin at the club, and me for that matter.....please dont let me put you off postin.Sorry again mate...... :-X

I won't give you a whack Nitro (not yet anyway) but i wil say that being a supporter since 1967, means you can remember and saw the good ol times! I'm still waiting. I want the mighty tigers up there so badly as all i've seen is the spoons and our club almost dying (SOS).
I admit i was an angry man that day (Friday 13th), but i would still rather pick 8 and Andrew Kellaway to go with it! Kellaway should still be with us , even if Gaspar had to go.

Please MrRuss - not Kellaway.

Getting rid of Kellaway was the best thing Wallace has done while at the club.

A Kellaway and Chaffey free zone.........now that's something positive.

8 or 13 we will still get a gun if we do our homework.

Polak might be the recruit of the year, you just don't know.

The only thing that pisses me off is that we traded our 3rd round pick, this could be the loss of a handy defender or the like.

Life goes on.

Wallace must think we aren't to far off something special.

If Tambo,Jon,Cass and a few more of the kids continue to improve I beleive we will be closer than we think.

Polak has got youth on his side also and with a QUALITY coach who knows what will happen.

Lets get behind our new recruit.

I guess that's why some of us are so annoyed about this deal. It does appear that Wallace does think we 'aren't too far off something special' when we don't. We look at four 100 point (or close enough to) thrashings this year (after Wallace had declared that in the 2006 season no more massacres would be considered one of the KPI for improvement). And we also take into account that out of the 11 wins (a bare improvement of one on the previous season) 7 were against the bottom four sides (of whom 3 we had the good fortune to play twice). Viewing these facts objectively, for Wallace to be so delusional to think that we 'aren't too far off something special' is sobering to say the least, for him to act upon it and throw away a top 10 pick to secure a dud (at least that's the prominent darkside view of Polak) is heartbreaking in the extreme. Because you just don't do that when there is so much rebuiding left to do...unless you're Richmond of course....

I can't for the life of me understand this post. I would understand your argument if we had gone for a Paul Hudson type player but we have instead gone for a speculative 22 or 23 year old key position player. Exactly what does this have to do with Richmond thinking that they are close to 'something special' as you put it!

If you ever had a chance to watch Terry on White Line Fever on Fox Footy on Wednesdays (when it was on) you would have seen a very realistic bloke. There was one episode where he spoke of the premiership clock for each club and The Tiges were rated about 10th. Bear in mind that is coming from the coach. I'd say that is pretty realistic wouldn't you?
