I take your point - and not having read the latest balance sheet I do not know the current financial status of the club - but surely using a dedicated "donation fund" from PRE to buy a piece of gym equipment (as an example) for the players is a worthwhile purpose too?
That's my way of thinking too Remote. Would much rather purchase some equipment than just donate towards debt repayment. The way I see it is the needed equipment improves the team and the money the club saves not having to cough up itself can go towards reducing the debt. I'd feel more satisfaction seeing something tangible but a rookie is still my first preference if help is required there.
We can't decide until Steven gets back to us later in the year but it's good to get the different opinions and expressions of interest.

Has the club given any progress statements about our profit/loss forecasts for this year? In previous years some running estimates have been provided but I'm unaware of any so far this year.
