Game day coaching and game plan

good to see the pro wallace posters show themselves again on this thread. these people are the lobbyist types that you see in political circles. working the room to find out who is anti their leader then throw brain washing theories in the conversation mix so that the anti consider (inveribly they will) changing camps.
this is millaresque type behaviour which march and free want out.
wallace has proven conclusively he does not have it, and never will.

After last week's insipid performance, I'm leaning more towards criticising the players lack of good old 'G & D,' let alone reflect on any real or perceived game plan that Terry may institute!

Walla$e cant coach and as for a game plan. He doesnt have a a game plan.
As for Walla$e saying Richmond will be his last coaching gig thats because no other side will have him.

Ah yes, we are suddenly trying to brainwash people, walhalla tiger ::)

All I'm saying is that there is evidence of a game plan, which isn't implemented all the time. My personal opinion is that this is because the players are not confident or skilled enough to execute for the majority of the game. This is not saying that Wallace is God, that he has a fantastic idea of coaching. In fact, I think he could do better, in that he should be able to get more out of our midtier players.

It seems as though my opinion is different to yours, and that's fine. However, don't try and intimate that I'm trying to brainwash anyone.

It takes too long for the coach to find matchups that work and by the time they are found, one or two quarters have passed and the opposition has a big lead.

I agree in part JK. I think TW reacts way too slow on game day, if he reacts at all. Obvious match-ups that we can see being huge issues aren't dealt with on game day. (Off topic...I still wonder if Schulz kicked TW's dog? If not why is he always the first to be dropped but almost never our worst a-field?)

I don't think it is our biggest problem but I do think it is a massive hole in Wallaces repertoire.

I do think there is a gameplan, of sorts, but it the same one he had at the Bullies. Run and Carry. Fast and loose. Low accountability. High scoring. This is what he likes. We like it too when it works.

hmm theres a time to runa nd stun. theres a time to go man on man .theres a time to go zonal. and theres a time to bomb long.
if you have the right cattle and structure you can change to whats required thruout a game.
player type and structure determines how you can play. under wallace we have just one way to play when sides change the rules on us we fall in a heap.
big fast strong bodies with good skills enables you to play in a required way.the lack of well rounded players in a well rounded team is what stuffs us.
