Yep, De Goey is a genuinely great player. You need to really work on him and it only takes seconds for him to do some damage.

Without Moore and Langdon in their bacline and Lynch crashing packs and Jack dragging Howe away, the pies couldn't take easy marks to set up their possession game. They rely on intercept marks and chipping sideways to stretch out our structure to beat us.
