Tigers of Old said:Geez there is some *smile* semantics going on in this thread. :blah
Sure it's great to win but the end result is insignificant IMO and short sighted.
I was absolutely thrilled with the way the team went about it today. Thrilled.
Sure we made some mistakes but we also took some MASSIVE steps forward.
*smile* me I feel positive about the future more than I have in years.
Brilliant post there ToO. I remember two weeks ago many were saying where were we going to win our next game over the next 5 weeks. Well two weeks later we have a massive win in Perth and a draw (which for all intents and purposes most thought we should have won). Next week against Hawthorn wil be a huge test and this will definitely give us an insight into how much we have improved. It's not all about winning, surely after all these years as Tiger supporters we know that. We have haf a team of youngsters under or around 21 years old. To perform like we have is very encouraging. To have a win is great but, for the longer term view, I am almost haooy the youngsters got to experience the throwing away of a win and I think it will be a positive experience for them.
