To say we need to win this is an understatement. I'll be there with bells on supporting the boys!

GWS have big mids but they not the fastest side going around. Dimmas plan run them off the park, keep it fast and out of contesting packs.

strange no game day thread by lunchtime????

Huge game tonight. Not do or die,

but certainly do.

Tigers get it done late and just.

I was wondering when this thread would pop up.

Big game indeed.

Grimes must play on Greene.

Absolutely re Grimes. Whilst I like Mansell, Greene is too smart a player for a newbie. Grimes is quick enough, smart enough and tall enough to nullify him. Last season we didn't deal well with Greene and he was the reason we lost that game.

I think they are going in very tall, they will either mark us out of the game and control it, or we will run them off their feet. Hopefully the latter.

This is the most pessimistic I've gone into a game in years. Mainly because it's the first time I'm worried about being beaten by pretty rubbish opposition.

And I reckon even being able to celebrate a goal will be a rare occurrence.

Should be pristine conditions at the ground tonight.

I went past Marvel earlier, after the winter mist had disappeared, and saw the roof opening. Should be nothing but sunlight on the grass this afternoon leading up to the opening bounce without that lingering dampness you sometimes get after a few cold days.

Tigers by 9 goals over their younger and less experienced opponents.

Our backline is back together. No doubt Dimma has used the press this week to galvanise the team. We stick together. We protect each other. We fight for each other.

I'm expecting us to come out fairly hard.
