Watching the first quarter unfold last night I felt I was witnessing a team playing 1980's style football of run and carry from the backline whilst the other team was playing zone football.
When the zone effectively shut down our run and carry game we came under pressure and coughed up turn over after turn over and dropped mark after dropped mark.
Add to this us being flogged in the centre by and bigger faster and more skilled midfield and you get a dissaster.
If 1980's run and carry football is our game plan then we need a new direction and arguably a new coaching panel.
