seemed as though it was a plan by terry and his mates today,

the whole team ran as a big wave up and down the ground from goalsquare to goalsquare and it looked good in the first quarter.
but if this was the tactic i think they wanted, Neil Craig knew it wouldnt last, you cant play like that for 4 quarters. We were stuffed at quarter time and they were fresh.

I think it was planned to play like that to try and get a quick 4 goals up then play tempo footy and close the game down, if this is the case it is very poor coaching as the players were spent. Mcg is too big for this, might have worked at the dump. If it was planned to try and play this way then terrry has to go

thoughts?

Didn't think we had any game plan after half time. Seriously, we need structure to have game plan, and we don't have that at the moment.

For 2-3 weeks, we need to decide who our key position players are going to be and go from there. With a team that has poor foot skills, we need to have a longer kicking game plan going to forward hot-spots.

No more oversuse of handball and consistently creeping aorund the boundary.

our players were running there legs into the ground in the first quarter and were all spent..... was easy to see at quarter time which team was puffing the most

Like many others at the game, I was astounded in the last quarter when Wallace decided to play an extra loose man back, Bowden. At a time where we'd just kicked 2 goals to get back to 29 points, and when they resumed their bounce positions, there was Bowden loose inn the backline. We probably weren't a realistic chance to win at that stage but playig defensive like that was basically admitting defeat and raising the white flag.
