but furthermore to that... it was less than 2 weeks ago that deledio said publically "we are still aiming to play finals." T74, i don't know about you, but i'm insulted by that. i know lids was toeing the party line, but it was a crap statement.

its not about what I think, its about the wrong message being given to the betting markets that we will not be trying to win. AFL gets revenue from the agencies now, so it has a legal obligation to make sure the competition is not corrupted. Reality is tanking is a corruption (you ain't putting the best team out there to win).
 
in the interview march said that a list management group has been looking at this list since late last year,one would think then that they are fully aware of where this list currently stands
 
Leysy always has a chuckle when posters go on about us not tanking or not tanking.

Like we have a choice. Any team we put out is gunna be very average.
 
Agreed Leysy. Just keep on trotting out teams like last night's and we're a shoe in for the extra pick.

Lets hope so, because history suggests the powers that be at the club have thought the list was much better than it actually was. I hope those currently on the list management committee dont have their collective heads in the sand.

Good onya Gary. 11 wins would do wonders for everyone, includuding the players whose confidence must be shattered and the supporters who love their team being successful.
 
My head says "tank" . My heart tells me the last 10 minutes of the second quarter last night was heaps better than the last 10 minutes of the 3rd quarter.
 
we dont need to tank we will lose anyway, This team seems to think afl has two quarters like rugby because after half time they dont bother showing up.
