All the anger should be directed at Caroline Wilson,she stated that the club had put a line through Sheedy & then criticised his right to apply for the job, thus created doubt about the club's process of appointing a new coach.All has been clarified by March & Cameron in whioch KB is fine with that.Wilson is nothing but trouble.

I think KB's sparked it with his push for Sheedy though, which while that doesn't make him responsible for her, if everyone who cares about the club just shut up and let the club go by the process and not felt the need to influence things by vouching for candidates, then Cameron and March can get on with running the club and process instead of putting out spot fires. They will be looking for someone to build and develop and coach for a long period of time, Sheeds is a two to three year prospect maximum, even if he gets through the process criteria which I doubt will happen.
Sheeds, Mathews, Pagan are previous generation coaches, Malthouse won't be far behind.
The games played, analysed and structured differently and the kids coming through think differently as well.
Don't forget that KB, Caro and every other journo or radio personality has a vested interest in controversy.
It's their job, it fuels ratings, gets people talking and makes them more important.

That's a backdown from KB and hopefully a permanent one. Well worth a day of bad press.

No one is without blame in this one, as keeps being said, everyone should put their egos aside and let the process fulfill it's purpose rather than trying to campaign what they think is best for the club when they know a process is underway to determine such.

Some applicants may not have advised their current employer that they're sniffing around for a new possie, others may have requested that their application remain confidential because of the repercussions of applying for the job but not getting it. There are many variables and considerations which should be taken into account in this process, not least the process being taken to its natural end without the applicants being hounded by the media (as would happen if the applicant list was made publicly available).
