Terry Wallace was the first one to publicly suggest that age was an important factor in winning premierships. Remember the premiership clock?

Don't get sucked in by Wallace.

Sadly I believe the 6? mentioned are still in our best 22

Sugar- Will retire
Brown- would certainly trade in some way, if keeping it would be a 1 year very cheap.
Simo-Move on......only keep on base pay as a back up
Bowden- Will retire
Cuz- depends on rest of season
Richo- Deserves to be treated with the up most respect an fact is still one of the best forwards going around, bout time the kids stept up

Only Richo and Bowden should be given the option to stay on at seasons end. It wont harm the list at all. You dont *smile* off team legends like that, but it is Richmond. They dont hold down our key positions anymore, they float in and out of every game.

I dont think that we are stuffed but we need a few young key position players to come into the scene. Vickery was drafted for that reason although, you look at Collingwood they managed to get John Anthony into the fold, he wasnt the no.1 pick. So our headhunting needs to be about key positions up forward. Jack needs help against the best defender.

Our backline isnt our problem, our mids and our forwards need to develop alot more.

based on recent performances.. certain players must go!! but all in all.. this article is just another opportunistic attack on RFC by a well-known RFC-hater. He never has anything positive to say about us and even when things are going ok at the club.. he still has to knit-pick and find something negative to talk about. On the other hand.. when his beloved dees are getting thrashed and playing poorly.. he never runs out of excuses and keeps talking them up, has anyone else noticed this?
