This is my first post to pre. I have watched from afar for many years and endured the pain of failure with you all.
I shall not be joining the darksiders and condemming every man currently involved with the club on and of the field, for fail as they may, they are doing the best they can with the tools they have. Footballers do not run onto any ground with the intention of failure.
What I will say is that this club has lacked a true on-field leader for as long as I can remember, but in a few short games I think I have seen a future leader in Alex Rance. It is a long way ahead but sadly the long term future is where Richmond must now look.
For the moment I wish him good health and thank him for his committment.

Alex Rance

In the face of yet another insipid team performance, just wanted to commend Alex Rance on his attack on the ball that on this occasion has brought about his injury. Watching it at the ground, you could see the contact coming and knew that it would not be good when it did. It was not.

Alex, you display the desire that some of our other blokes could only hope to emulate.

Here's hoping that your recovery is swift and that you can get back out there soon. I for one think that your tenacity and work ethic is something we can use to help build the future of this club.

Re: get well Alex Rance

Congratulations for showing 100% couarge and committment on the field, Alex. I'm sure you'll have a great career with the Tigers.

Best wishes in your recovery and look forward to watching you for many years to come.

Re: get well Alex Rance

Great thread and welcome to PRE Y and b. :)

Get well soon Alex and thanks for putting your body on the line so bravely for us. :hearton

Courageous young bloke. Put his body on the line and head over the footy. Get well soon Alex!

Well done Alex on your efforts so far this year, and I hope your back soon to build on this promising start. What you did today encompasses the commitment that is needed to win premierships, most other aspects of the game can improved with dedicated work, however, courage and the desire to contest are character traits that Alex oozes in spades. A speedy recovery to you, young MAN.

Without a doubt Alex Rance shows courage, inspiration and leadership that the Tiges lack and truely need. Mind you kind of reminds me of a young Matthew Richardson. Hopefully when Trent Cotchin returns these 2 young guns can start to lift the Tigers in the next few years.

I absolutley love the way Alex Rance plays however he is a candiate for these types of injuries. Needs to learn how to protect himself better he had a simliar incident 3 weeks ago that time green was the one who broke his cheekbone.
