Pettifer aint a wasted pick just yet. He does another preseason and lifts his game another notch on this years efforts and he will be a bloody handy link player and medium forward.

not quite yet.when tambling rodan meyer and p bowden all go past him in the first couple of games and brown comes back it will be a sort of forced retirement.

Think I'm gunna have to make a note of this thread and drag it back up at end of 06 Clawmeister.
I'm backin the Pettifer kid to step up again and become a handy player for the next five or six years.  .
Will be interesting to see who gets to hang out the " I told you so" at seasons end.

I said on a different thread that if you were going to be really harsh you would have traded Pettifer this season as when we look back we'll see that 2005 will be the pinnacle of his career.

Well what do ya know, someone has been kind enough to drag up a thread where I backed Petts to step up again this year and I just found out an hour ago that I will be sitting at the Dees game, meeting for the first time and having a quiet frothy with his old man.
Now all I need is for the Claw to get off his freckle and read this thread so I don't have to wait till seasons end to "bloody told him so." ;D ;D
