PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Let's have a look at how many goals our key midfielders have kicked before rnd 8 of this year.

Richmond onballers up to rnd 7

M Coughlan
677 min
0 goals
APG = 0

S Tuck 686 min
4 goals
APG = 0.5

K Johnson 471 min
2 goals
APG = 0.4

N Foley 390 min
1 goal
APG = 0.1

APG = Average per game

Our mids just seem incapable of scoring goals and this has been a problem for a long time now. Tuck is the most likely but Johnson & Coughlan are virtually incapable of splitting the woodwork.
Look at the successful sides in the competition, they have numerous options in the centre who can go forward and hurt oppositions on the scoreboard but the players we have currently aren't natural goalkickers.

How are we going to correct this? :-\
