. How much louder we were than the other teams because of the novelty of actually winning a game (remember 1988 beating carlton under lights??)

Trains and trams are still fun after the footy, especially after a win of course. Melbourne is still footy mad and there are plenty of vocal people to either celebrate or commiserate with you.

My two favourite Footy moments combined.

we actually have 2 great footy stadiums now where you can sit in comfort, have a beer at the bar without having to buy a plastic cup, and you don't freeze your bum off on the wooden seats at arctic park

not much has changed man

back in the mid 90s i used to scream at jamie elliot to get off the field, now (last 2 years) i scream at tivendale.

as tigericho stated: no ressies match so you don't have to go as early to get a good seat anymore.

southern stand is still as good a place as any to get a seat

No more Reserve Games prior to 2.10 Start. You walk into a Dead Stadium.

The playstation Challenge was Big in 1996, It has gone the way of the Commodore Computer.

What has changed since 1996?

A lot of the players that's what...of the the 1996 crop we only have Richo, Gas and J Bowden are left. The coaches have changed too. Gone are Walls, Geischen, Frawley (thank god) and in is Terry Wallace. What hasn't changed. Still optimistic of a turn around in fortunes...(unless your name is Claw :hihi). Position on the ladder.
