Yes the ones who will lose out the most will be your 9th to 12th, often the zoe where the Tigers end up.

Yes and no Good O. Ladder position might be important in one aspect, but the flip side is that any club with a decent list manager might be able to secure an early pick with some astute trading.

Yes these are usually your better teams anyway. The ones who have an abundance of talent, depth and so on. That's why depth is so important. Not only for the season proper but at trade time when wanting to trade players to address weak points.
