PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

No we're not talking about highlights from the big Staffs career but the bacteria.
Article in todays hun confirms two Tigers have golden staph infections.
From the smidgin I have read about this germ it is highly infectious and extremely resistant to disinfectants when cleaning plus resistant to antibiotic treatment in wounds or injuries.
Why are the players still training and showering together with the rest of the boys?
Staph just loves getting into open wounds and most players would have scrapes and scratches from training and playing with two players being infected there's not much chance of cleaning the bacteria out of the showers, change rooms or medical rooms.
