While he may not be our saviour and may only play 2 or 3 seasons Ben's impact in his 3 months at Richmond has been staggering.

10,000 extra members and still counting, a sold out opening round, guaranteed massive crowds in all our games this season not just our home games.

The club gambled and so far it has paid off. For once we got one right.

IMHO he is so determined to do well and get us into the finals that he has the necessary distraction to get away from his checkered past.

No one man is bigger than a club, but geez Ben Cousins is right up there with the biggest.

Good luck tonight cuz, 750,000 tigers supporters and millions of Australians are right behind you and the Tigers.

EAT EM'ALIVE!

If reports of us scoring $650k + from this match are right, he's already paid for himself.

well, not quite, you need to work out what the crowd would have been without Cuz playing and look at the difference.

True baloo, but apparently the amount going to the club increases exponentially (thanks greg denhem). Crowds above 75k or so result in proportionately higher $ to the club. I don't think my statement is far wrong.

I still find it hard to believe he's playing for Richmond... Go Cuz :clap

Me too, at the moment I'm still pinching myself.
If we lose tonight I'll be punching myself (not really, I'll just go to bed feeling sad).

I feel bad for the bloke, He must be gutted.

Because he is man who sets no limits on himself, I would imagine that even with what he has been through for the last 18 months, tonight would be pretty tough.
