I rang up the Richmond Football Club today to get some news on how Brad Ottens was recovering from his operation. The lady operator told me that Brad was up and walking around and felt quite good. Will start swimming next week. Club very positive that he will be back in the side by round 10.
This news excited me terribly because i honestly thought that with his back injury his season was completely over. i did not believe the original diagnosis of only 10 weeks.
If anyone has heard any news to the contrary could you please post what you have heard. Hopefully the club is being truthful and not only saying this to try and increase their memberships.
If this is true i reckon his injury is a blessing in disguise. I just feel that if we get off to a good start to the season without him, then when he does come back that will give us the explosive impetuous to carry us all the way to the flag. Here's hoping for season 2003 being the year of the Tiger. Please Reply.

They spoke a bit about Otto on club corner. Said he's a lot better than what's being reported.
He was at the club for an hour or so during the week, but gets very tired easily.
They said he can stand and walk, but can't sit at all yet.

he can stand and walk but cant sit and he gets tired easily.

Bloody hell, whats in the water down there at Geelong?
