Good place to watch Freo game in Melbourne (merged)

Just wanted to mention (apart from the bloody result!) how good it was to watch the game at the Royal Oak on Satdee night. I'll tell you what, there's been some games I've actually attended that hasn't had the atmosphere that the 'Oak' had on game night.

Doubt I could watch an interstate game anywhere else from now on.

Sigh........If only we'd got up!

Went there for the first time, great atmosphere, plenty of people all having fun until the last 5 minutes when we lost the front and some cocky Collingwood supporters walked in and stood at the back. They were pretty with our loss.

It was a much bigger crowd this week than in recent years, and the closest I've come to seeing a victory there so the place really was jumping.

I expect I'll be back there in a fortnight if the hawks game isn't on FTA.
