Gotcha membership pack yet??

I called the club this morning as I had purchased my membership in November yet it has still not yet arrived. They advised that it was sent out on the 5th December - I did not receive it!! :'(

Willo - I asked again if there could be an option to forgo the hat etc and let the club keep the money rather than producing but the young guy I spoke to didnt quite "get it". He was shocked that I didnt want the hat. I tried to tell him that it would be great if we were given an option when renewing and for those that wanted it then great - for those that didnt then they could just check the box - that way the funds stay in the club for other uses.

I had to tell him that yes I loved the Tigers and it had nothing to do with not wanting hat number 8 - it was about wanting to support the club by them not having to pay for something that I may not see a need for - and that the club could use that money elsewhere - in development or whatever.

He was no help really but I wont give up - he said that would be too hard to do - i told him a check box was the answer - and a really good web person to update our site to allow it! I left him scratching his head I think. ::)
 
It is probably cheaper for the club to buy more caps at a cheap price. :P

I for one have many a RFC cap, and stocks are overflowing, but they make a good garden cap (The later ones that fit better). I think I will keep the centenary one for good though...

Im pretty sure Greg Miller organises the hats and sells them to the club, no tigerlee dont think miller would want any reductions in his supply by allowing members the option to forgo the hats.

Shhh dont tell Claw that GM supplies the hats :scold

wow - that is service and as I remember the speed for getting memberships once ordered. I called the club on Monday and I have my membership today! They sent it out immediately! I am impressed. Also got the Centenary cap and although I have enough hats to sink a ship - I will keep this one as a momento of our Centenary.

I wear both cap and scarf to most games.

In the R22 game against the saints it was fairly warm and I took the scarf off and headed off after the final siren forgetting to pick it up. When I realised I forgot it, I went back to my seat 5 mins later and it was gone.

So I'll proudly wear my '07 cap and '08 scarf this year.
