You might have heard that Dylan will be picked up by the blues. On Channel 10 news tonight they said that the secret weapon to lure him were the gourmet sandwiches he had at Pagan's home.............yeah right...............nothing about the key factor for him going to the blues is their 1st pick in the PSD.

Well, they couldn't entice Knobel or Simmonds last year, maybe this year it'll be much easier.

I thought it strange that the Blues are going for McLaren. They already have French, Bryan, Deluca and ? (anyone else?). How many rucks do you need?

You're too harsh on these players Interested. Bryan was a real surprise packet for them this season as was Deluca last season and French wasn't their worst player. If you think McLaren is the answer to their ruck issue (if they have a ruck issue!) then you probably think Mark Jamar is going to win the Brownlow in '06.

DeLuca = terrible
Bryan = second year blues
French = ok only because they had no-one else

Carlton = rabble

Not surprised they are looking at McLaren for PSD, there's not much else around.

All I was saying is that I don't rate any of the players there particularly highly, so therefore would have thought securing McLaren wouldn't be the worst thing for Carlton.

And you're certainly entitled to your point but my point is that if Bryan/French/Deluca can't solve your problem then McLaren won't either as he's no better than that trio. It's another case of "he's from Brisbane who won 3 flags in a row then he must be good". This philophy isn't always true which we Tigers found out when we got lumped with Morrison and the Saints may say the same with Gram and the Bombers may say the same with Cupido and the Dockers may say the same with Headland and so on and so on.

I'd personally feel McLaren would add more to a side than any of Bryan, French or Deluca, especially in terms of around the field play.
