We might have to move the Granny, says Anderson!

It has been revealed that the AFL has a contingency plan in place for this year's Grand Final. The AFL/VFL has played its most important match of the season at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for over 100 years. In this exclusive report, we can reveal that this tradition is now at risk.

AFL Operations Manager, Adrian Anderson, explains: " It came to me last night in a dream. I woke in a cold sweat when I realised what could happen. What are we going to do if Collingwood and West Coast make the Grand Final this year?"

Acknowledging that there are still nine weeks (and nine weekends) to go before the big day, Anderson conceded that most of the players on these two lists could very well be behind bars by then.

"It is not so much Michael Gardner, Chris Tarrant and Ben Cousins we are worried about. They are a lock. Its what the rest of the list could get up to over so many weekends that worries us," he stated." Potentially, that is a lot of 3am nightclub incidents. Why the Cloke boys alone could trash every nightspot in Ringwood in that time!"

We can reveal that if the unthinkable does happen then the big game will be played in the exercise yard of an Australian prison, with Barwon prison the early favourite.

In a more positive development, a spokesman for Channel 10 said that they are really excited about all this. "Imagine the quality of the coverage we will be able to deliver, what with all those security cameras and everything!"
