A cruel email doing the rounds has found its way into my mates' hands and I've received it about 5 times this morning. (See below). I guess we have to laugh ... as we know the alternative!!

Do you find grand final time stressful?

Does the cost of expensive grand final tickets cause you concern?

Do you fly into a panic trying to organise interstate travel and accommodation at short notice for the grand final?

Are you driven to despair by the complicated process of grand final ticket ordering systems?

Does the shortage of grand final tickets and the likelihood that competing club members will miss out get you down?

Don't panic.

Don't despair.

A solution is at hand......

Who was fooled into paying the additional $$ on top of the membership for the GF ticket guarantee?? Wow, that's looking like a wise investment right now.

Ah, but Hopper, the more important question is whether you will renew it next year and into the future. I certainly will. One day I expect it to come in handy.

Save your money....when (or if) the day arrives, I reckon you'd get a better overall price from a scalper.

:rofl Nice one, wonder if anyone's been brave enough to pin it to the Coach's Office Door.

There's a better idea....apply for MCC membership!

By the time you are admitted (16 - 18 years from now) we might actually be a chance to play in the big one! :rofl

TO, the simply yet slightly insane answer is yes. Living in Darwin, I will not take any chances on a potential GF ticket whenever in the long and distant future that may be. Hopefully, by then we'll have pensioner discounts on flights!

Too true!

Although I don't think it's so insane, mate. A little extra donated to the club in exchange for a firm guarantee that if we ever do make the GF, I will be there. Fair trade, no matter how much pain the club tries to inflict on me.
