Greg Miller - In Hospital

Amazed to see Greg at Port, watching Coburg, on Sunday.

AAA+ effort.

Can't keep a good man down. It is amazing how far medical science has come these days. Once upon a time you had anything done even remotely connected to your heart you were laid up for months. :clap

Get better soon Greg, but don't go too hard initially! Taking it slow and steady is the best way.

Great news.
Sitting in the sun.
Plenty of think time to plan for Trade time

cptjo2mc?

What % of footy directors in bottom 4 teams have heart problems and missed round 22 in the last 5 years?
It seems Greg had a blocked artery in his heart, which needed a procedure done. Good enough reason to miss. ;)

If it was one blocked artery, I assume he had a stent inserted. If it was grafts, he would have been in hospital for 5 or 6 days after the surgery.

Well said Jools :clap

Glad you are feeling better GM, don't push it too hard though. This is only footy, you stuff this up you have another season to deal, you don't get the same joy with your health.

Percutaneous angioplasty Jools good diagnosis.

Greg had by sounds a By femoral coronary artery angioplasty or stent exactly which require about 6 hours of complete bed rest to allow for Artery wall to heal.

Common procedure thesedays and Greg will be right.

Speaking to Millers Cardiologist and he said "Greg told him he was looking at the pathetic Richmond list and those players on the RFC list that he had continually resigned, and drafted when he suddenly came over sweaty, pale and started to feel severely nauseated felt like his heart was gonna explode".

Personally thats how i feel every time i see the names of so many pathetic duds and space wasters running around disgracing the RFC year after year that Miller re signed or drafted and traded for.

;)

A recent study, (in Sweden I think it was) found that working with fools is one the greatest causes of on the Job Heart attacks even in people who are not considered to be likely heart attack material (fact)

Geez I'm in trouble then.

After this and the simmo thread, i'm curious. Own up Craig. Nurse or doctor?

Good to see him well but hopefully he has no input on draft day.

Or perhaps a well-read hypochondriac: I can just imagine him hanging around the hospital calling all the doctors duds for getting the diagnosis wrong. :hihi
