Greg was interviewed on Sport927

This link is for those who'd like to listen and I've done a bit of a summary for those without sound.

  • Greg and Terry saw Polly on Monday. He was remembering a few things. A remarkable improvement to a week ago and a testament to how fit a young man he was and also a bit of good luck

  • Cogs played for the Coburg reserves for 3 quarters and got through ok. He’ll play for Coburg seniors this week against Port Melbourne. Greg spoke about the Germany treatment. Good for Cogs to get away from the country. A solid couple of weeks without distractions. Cogs is feeling very good. Success probably from a combination of mental and physical treatment as well as the injections.

  • Richo said he was only 10-15 minutes away from making it to the break when he hurt his hammy. He’s struggling a bit but he reckons he’ll play. Medical people will make the decision later in the week, possibly Friday.

  • Subi is a big ground but Richo played his first game on the wing there, we beat Freo by 8 points and turned around our fortunes.

  • Our style of footy suits there, run and carry and a bit of pace. Optiistic about that side of it. The week off will help a few Weagles carrying injuries. Anticipating a heavy ground, there’s been a lot of rain over there.

  • Asked how to manage the week off Greg said he would have loved to take the team to Qld for a week and get a bit of warm weather. They had to think about how to manage the week off. Sydney might be questioning ho they managed it, maybe they weren’t ready for Collingwood.

  • Trained until Thursday on the week off then had a few days off. Richo didn’t spend the break in a fun way. Not only had his hammy to deal with but also a swollen mouth following having his wisdom teeth removed in hospital.

Hope you're feeling better now Matty :grouphug

  • Alex Rance and Andy Collins are playing good footy at Coburg and aren’t far away from making their debut
