Has McBean already gone??? News to me...
Just my assumption C4b..... I think the writings on the wall and the fact Moore and Elton played on the weekend in front of him makes me think he's defiantly gone.

Yeah true, I think he will have a solid vfl career but is never gonna have the body to play in a KP in the AFL.

Rioli is going to make it hard for him to get a game. ;)

That's what I keep thinking/hoping that we have a Ruck an a KPF signed, surely with TV, Chappy, Maric, Mckenzie and McBean all gone and not in a hurry to re sign Griffiths, there has to be something in the pipeline.

Can only think/hope there must be.. I also hope that they're a durable, hardnosed *smile*. ;D

I'm in the same boat as you Tigers of Old. It's all well and good if we put Griff on the trade table but who do we have or are we going to get to play back up ruck/2nd or 3rd tall forward?
We all know young talls take 4 to 5 years to come good, Ty cannot ruck to save himself and is a cardboard cut out up forward. Soldo and Chol are light years away...
I reckon against Geelong we were missing Griff who takes contested marks in packs, he would've provided a target for the backs kicking out allowing us to at least get the ball past half back. This is an area where we struggled particularly in the last quarter.
Was thinking same thing in that Cats game.....They were killing us with the ability of their talls to mark at will down the line.....Whereas we had no one ....Jack tried, Hampson took a couple, but we needed more. Griffiths, when is on song, can out mark most opponents....That Swans game, he had them crapping themselves every time the ball went into our 50. I know it was only one game.....but he is clearly a confidence player, so if he can get his head right...he could be huge for us. Needs at least one more season in yellow and black before making a call on him I reckon.

Remains uncontracted to my knowledge. Wonder what the plan is?
Have we got another ruckman in mind? Another KPF?
I sense he might get shopped to see what he might fetch and if there's enough interest he'll be elsewhere next season.

Out-of-contract spearhead Ben Griffiths looks set to remain at Punt Road as his talks with Richmond progress positively.
From the website that cannot be named.

We are better with him in the team than without as painful as that sounds and as inconsistent as he is.

Agree, with Vickery moving on? we have no choice but to try and sign him. But with that comes the responsibility for Griff to be The Man! next year, nowhere to hide. Heaven help us

TV and Griff out. Cloke in.
picks in the 20/30s in for TV and Griff. pick in the 70s out for Cloke.

we would probably be in front.

In the absence of tv and griff and the inclusion of Moore and chol, underlined just how important tv and griff are and how far off novice raw boned kpp are from impacting at senior level
