Boyd was BOG (IMO) in a GF in his 3rd season.
I'm not holding out hope for Griffo going into his 8th season next year.

Brodders17 said:Roughhead has taken 7 years to be a decent footballer so there is hope.
I think brodders is suggesting that the new coach turned Roughheads career around and thus is widely advocating dismissing Hardwick.Ridley said:7 years Roughead? Really. Didn't know that. He certainly has been a very good player this year.
Regardless Roughead has the advantage of being a part of a top class football program with a top class coach. Griffiths has neither to help him.
Roughead also displays determination and a thirst for the contest. That has only ever been on display from Griffiths very sporadically over his 7 year AFL career.

leon said:Griffiths has done this already in our first match against the other grand Finalist today. Kicked 5 goals, clunked big contested marks, beat Grundy decisively who was one of their best today, was the matchwinner, even won 3 Charlie votes.
You must have missed it. Of course, it doesn't fit in with the whinge and whine grind on PRE.
Maybe one thing to take out of the whole amazing Bulldogs success today is - Never give up. Persist. Keep on going.

Griff is running out of time.
Lazarus said:That's richmonds motto - persist. Where else would the likes of Luke mcguane get 100 games over 8 seasons.
Or stick with a 3 time finals failed coach?
The fans persist despite the pain.
