Griffiths

Great comments seeing Griffiths kick out is great we clear the packs and run on past the press. Could he be CHF, maybe but for durability I would rather him at CHB with a move forward if its not working, loitering around the centre if we dont have the ball. Great kick and hope the injuries stay away - Go Griff - Go Tiges!

His booming kicks could give us quite a bit more from defence, clearing the opposition's forward press but also when we're trying to plot a way into a congested F50 he could run past for a handball and roost it from 70 out.

@ 7.23 remaining in the 2nd term

thanks Olden, what a hoof! His laconic low key style really differentiates him from other well known superboots. Rocca and Graham used to really wind up, telegraph what was coming. That kick out, and a number of other kicks hes done in the past few weeks, he just looks like hes kicking regulation but he's actually going bang. The commentators didn't even really jerry as to how big it was. He can do it from a mark or free AND on the run. He did one, I think it was the Hawthorn game, out of a pack! Wow, what a weapon.

Another thing, he doesn't need to give it the height Graham and Lynch give it (really pronounced in those BG vids), which adds to the deceptiveness. I don't think I've ever really seen someone who can kick that long and that low trajectory along with it.

If Griffo can turn out anywhere near as good as Ben Graham then I'd be pretty happy!

I actually thought Ben Graham, for all of his physical attributes, was just an average footballer.

I would hope Griff turns out better than Ben Graham.

message to Dimma, please don't sub Griffiths this week.

Have been disappointed that Griffiths has been the played sub in the previous few matches.

Dimma explained why it happened last week. Griff came off at 3 quarter time and said his calf felt tight and aaked for a massage. He wasn't the player they were going to sub but they decided not to risk him.

I didn't think Graham was a super player but he was a solid player, did win a B&F.

he was good enough for Mark Bomber to throw a hissy fit and have a cry when he chose going to the US over staying with the cats

Agree. He'll be important in defence this week.
I agree too, he's more important in defence than attack at present, especially with Batchelor out. North have some height in attack, and that's even if Petrie doesn't play.

So much for Griffith's height against Nth.

Must be more serious. We just can't get a good block of games into him.
