Griffiths

Five and half games in, two out.

Massive wraps on PRE but cannot get on the park.

My guess is they are being ultra conservative with him and rightly so. Hope to see him back next week.

If he is fit to play next week then we need to stop this backline farce.

He needs to line up at CHF. Our forward line cannot be threatening with just Jack up there.

He was drafted to play CHF so just play him there FFS! Enough of trying to turn these forwards into defenders.

Problem is that we also lack quality tall backs with Grimes out. Problems with key positions up both ends at the moment.

Much rather see him down back at the moment, badly missed him today against Petrie I think. Will release Post forward

Yep, I think we need to give him a run as a forward for the rest of the year. We can't have Riewoldt as the sole focal point.

Amd Bastinac with 29 touches today. Boy we need midfielders.

You have made your preference in regards to that draft pick quite clear....many, many times.

You can find midfielders like Bastinac in most drafts however those with Griffiths attributes and skill set are very rare. Easily the right choice given where we were in regards to talls. The only problem is him being able to stay fit. Hopefully the gamble pays off.

If he can get on the ground I want him to see out the season down back. I reckon it is a bit late in the season to start throwing him around the place, when what he really needs is consistency. Leave any changes forward to come after a preseason training for the position.

McGuane released Post forward. Fat lot of good that did our forward line.
As soon as McGuane was pushed back we were in trouble.

Post was doing great down back...If Griff was available would have like to see him at CHF.

AND O'Hanlon should have got a full run at it - he is not suited to a sub.

Hmm, Griffiths didn't get up again. What's that, 3 weeks out now?

Just when I thought maybe we might finally get a couple of solid months worth of games and development into him in a row his injury curse strikes again. That's even too hard a task apparently.
