In fact, watching it again on the RFC website, he just leaped over McGone to stretch out for the ball and tunnelled himself. Why?

This is what I mean about no awareness. OK, players should go in hard as we all know, but sometimes you need to cushion yourself someway.

Tunnelled himself? *smile* me drunk.

Do what?

Main question about this bloke is nothing but why he gets injured so easily and too often. Others put in more or less impact but don't end up on the sidelines as often. Maybe SCOOP's got a point.

He'd have a point if they were recurring injuries. As it is he's overcome shoulder injuries and overcome knee injuries. Today's incident was totally uncontrollable. Look at Hawkins last week, just for starters. It's a tough game. Look how many people are on the injury lists right now.

Sorry but that's enough for me. Trying to reason with you does my head in.

Uncontrollable?. He didn't see McGone there?? Just run into your own player because you want the ball? Just like a kid.

Look at Hawkins...who fell BACKWARD ! *smile* me drunk!

What's with the reasoning part? I'm just questioning like others do for and against. I didn't know you had to come out with the final answers all the time on here. Sorry about your head.

You and I are just on such different wavelengths there's no point trying to have a discussion mate.

Not getting involved in your little tiff ;) , however this is exactly what I want to see from Ben, I want him too say *smile* everybody else the ball is mine an if he doesn't go clunk , he goes thump an belts the living *smile* out of the ball, reason he hasn't ever dominated games with his enormous talent is simply his "too nice" hate the opposition pricks Benny, get that kill mentality like Morris has an you will be a star

Different wavelengths....geez. Well don't bother responding then.

*smile*. It's like talking to a troll.

But Morris doesn't get injured as often does he?? That's all I'm asking about Griffo. Better awareness to prevent these things. Patsy's comparison to Hawkins falling backwards last week is laughable.

Yep. He is copping the dud delist for going, if he didn't go he would be copping the dud delist for being too nice. It is what it is, when a player is in the sights, a player can't win.

All I want to do is agree to disagree and move on. Don't get too upset, I said I was sorry.

In future I won't respond to you. It's not worth it.

So he's had an unlucky run with injury, it happens fromm time to time, particularly with young players.

Three concussions this year. I hope they give him the last two matches off rather than risk another knock. *smile* could use the run too.

Agree with all these bits from various people.
Have been glad to see him getting a game this year and having a red-hot go when he's there.
Disappointed to see him hurt - but just bad luck.
Looking forward to seeing him have a big pre-season and to continue improving next year.
Would also be happy to rest him these last too if the concussion was bad.

I'm not upset and don't need a wussy sorry.

I just make a comment about a player and you turn it into a debate with a tinge of patronising.

Sorry if it comes accross that way, but more often than not when I discuss something with you I can't get my head around your point of view. It's probably my fault but it makes these discussions all too much like hard work. Like I said, I'll try and not respond to you in future.

We're not all the same. My main point of this thread is that Griffo gets injured too often and too easily compared to any other player I've seen, and questions have to be raised as to why. Today's incident shows he went to ruck, ran into McGone without looking and virtually made the accident happen instead of just using a bit of nous to prevent it. If you disagree, then fine. It's my view and sorry if it's hard to understand it.

Yep it's why most of us on here are just passionate supporters who run on emotions an really have nowhere near enough footy nous to be in an afl coaching box ..

Why the HELL wasnt he played at CHF rather than at CHB?

For goodness sake what will it take before Dimma and the other coaches mix things up a bit?

Whilst Big Ben hasnt had much luck with injuries, I dare say if he was played in the forward line today this probably wouldnt have happened.

Poor griff it looked bad.....but the disaster of a game that mcguane had saw him involved in this incident as he stood there like a statue and griff went tumbling over....

He is 2 meters tall and he jumped a meter into the air. Do me a favour and try something, grab your ladder and pop up onto your garage roof, that will be about 3 meters off the ground. Then jump off and land on your side without hurting yourself. After you have done that jump back on PRE and explain how you managed it, and do us a favour and PM big Ben so he gets it right next time.
