he had 2 kicks with the footy, both shockers came 4th last then had a kick of a NFL ball which was even worse. Dunstal came to his rescue 'it's a bit too windy and the NFL balls are much lighter'

It's a real skill to hit a barrel running flat out. Your name sake would've been proud of that.

Did Griffith mention why he is not in the states . I thought he had a full scholarship at USC. Checked recently he is not even on their 90 man roster which includes 3 punters. Not sure what is going on as they are 4 /5 weeks into season

Look forward to hearing how Griffiths gave the super kick contest "structure" and "that the stats don't tell everything about what he did."

Just watching the 'Longest Kick' comp at the Yarra yesterday. Nice torp from Bash moved to 2nd on the list, but WTF was Griffo doing?? Both kicks with the Sherrin were NFL punts!!

To be fair, fans in the crowd said his best work was done off-camera. Us viewers at home didn't get a proper perspective of how important he was.

Strangely hasn't been recruited by an NFL club by now.

Not sure but presumably he’d have to nominate for the draft and that’s something he hasn’t done.

Do NFL clubs approach a bloke like him with a promise to draft him if he did nominate? Dunno.

Or maybe he wants to obtain his Uni degree first - especially if his scholarship covers it - and that would give him another season of College punting.

Hope he gets to the NFL at some stage.

Putting age aside..... he's so new to the caper ....3rd year?
Heard Nathan Chapman say a couple of weeks ago he's tracking ok.... but I imagine he says that about everyone he parachutes into US colleges.
In 15yrs time we might be calling him Ben Brady!

Yeah maybe so. You could be Tom Brady's age when punting. Maybe he loves the college feel more which is understandable. If that USC chick is a Yank, and then marries, he's officially a Yank too.
