Have to admit i got bit emotional after watching the last ever episode last night.Gunna miss Fox Footy BIG TIME!

The 2nd last episode was a classic.  Slamming Sam told Tony Shaw he wasn't a proper sized person because he didn't eat meat. What a classic.

Sad to see it go.  Some of my best memories over the past year have been GOM episodes with Graham Campbell - former Fitzroy rover and coach - Robbie Muir explaining that he didn't get an invite to the Indigenous all stars game in Darwin 'cos Michael Long's Dad hated his Dad.

A great show spoilt only by Hawkins who is genuinely dumb and boring.

I couldn't stand GOM.  Won't miss it at all. I reckon they've all passed their use-by date.

Does anyone know if WLF will be continuing?

Each to their own Rosy

Indeed poppa. Was just posting my opinion, not questioning others. The ratings would probably indicate I'm in the minority.

WLF will be axed Rosie, along with everything else on fox footy. The Age said today that 7 & 10 will be showing all 8 game's next season,so there will be no game's showed on pay television. A MASSIVE kick in the gut's to us regional people!!

Thanks Dave. That's really sad news. Not much use us having Austar any more. Will be unsubscribing.

Seriously thinking about that myself. The kid's will kill me though!

Our kids have flown the coop dave. They won't be impressed over summer when they're all home, but my husband and I rarely watch telly ourselves.

I'll miss the horse racing and the cricket but not worth paying all that money for the luxury of watching them every now and again.

Keep it connected until they go home Rosie! Can't have disharmony in the house while the kid's are home!

Wasn't a big fan of GOM, won't be missed, but most of the rest of FF will be.

This is a real shame, especially for anyone who lives further than 100kms outside of Perth, Adelaide or Melbourne.

i thought my girlfriend was starting a thread about me here...

i heard that ch 7 & 10 will show all 8 games next year and make fox suffer and lose subcriptions... to make them realise what they're missing out on... and then they'll do a deal in 2008

I quite enjoyed it for what it was. Catching up with some old great players & some good yarns.

I will miss it.

Maybe a radio station could do a format of that before certain games ( 2 old legends from the competing game to be broadcast) 11-12pm slot on Saturday or Sunday.
