Bye bye Mr Rawlings, almost made it worth the loss today. You show disrespect to our club, labeling the culture when you have been part of it for the past 2 or 3 years and playing bunnies like King and McMahon ahead of Tiger blood like Bowden. It's time to get lost and don't you think it's ever your call to give Richo ultimatums.

Mmmm me thinks ol Jade has hindered his chances of getting the gig.

Dean Laidley has been swanned into the last round by reports today also (Interesting how THE PROCESS) didnt apply to him like it did to everyone else.

Don't reckon today's game did Jade any favours. He was quite simply out coached by one of the best in the biz today.

I found it very interesting before the game that Roos commented that Rawlings had the Tigers playing more like Sydney (re tackling emphasis & 1%s) after he had taken over from Terry.

Well today Roosy took that head on & showed he was the master and Jade still the apprentice as the Swannies tackled like men possessed and really made our side look like a team of schoolboys.

Whilst it was a bad one for Jade's chances I wouldn't be making a decision based on the back of one game. Particularly as the Swans have had the edge over this side for some time.

What did impress me re Jade today was that he had the courage to take off Cousins in his 250th for giving up that 50ms for back chatting the umpire despite the game being well lost. That type of action commands respect from the playing group.

Bottom line we were simply outplayed across all lines today and not many coaches would have made a difference IMO. We had few answers at the stoppages as usual against Sydney.

When u bring in Rance and Graham, and leave out Tuck, Patto and others it shows he has NFI.
If he is appointed I will not renew my membership, the 1st time in 30 years.

Whats wrong with axing Plodderson.

The guy is at the very acme of the dud pile.

Pattison was a waste of pick 16 .... another hideous draft error, and should be delisted.

Hmm, I think it may be yourself that has no idea. Patto had a horrible game last week, and Tuck is a very deficient player who isn't part of the future. Rance and Graham certainly deserved to play ahead of them.

If he is appointed I will not renew my membership, the 1st time in 30 years.

While I don't want him appointed, it would almost be worth it to rid the club of idiots who threaten to not renew membership when something doesn't go their way.

The 3rd stage is CC & Co presenting the recommendations to the board.

The second stage is all about their stategic ability... Although there is no need to rush, it shouldnt take too long if there is only 6 to go thru stage 2.

hold on a sec. i thought stage 3 involves the final 2-3 candidates making a full and complete presentation to all members of the board?

Indeed, a very Richmond solution.

Understand the mirth, but we may as well not have a coach. I can't see one improvement over the last half a dozen weeks.

Surely Rawlings has to now be outright favourite to take the job because after the last two weeks why would anyone else want the job?

Probably why Hinkley made a run for it at 3 quarter time with the rest of us!!

Because you get paid around $400,000 to do it.
Id do it but that would mean no more posting on PRE :P

Funny that, I saw Laidley leave at 3/4 time as well. Heaven forbid, Rawlings in a walkover. :hihi

I would do it to but if I was looking to make a career of coaching then I don't think I would take on Richmond.

No. Ripples is correct.

A reduced group will progress to a more thorough second stage, which will concentrate on "football situation analysis" as well as psychological profiling.
For the second stage, Mr Crowe and Gaze will drop out, replaced by former Richmond players Emmett Dunne and Greg Stafford, with Tigers president Gary March to also join the process at that stage.

The coaching sub-committee will then hand a shortlist of candidates to Richmond's board, along with their recommendation, for the board to make the final decision.
